For example, at a typical state board meeting, board members typically review volumes of applicant files and required documentation for approval, as do office staff prior to these meetings. TOM allows board members and staff to do a complete and thorough review of each file directly and securely from any computer and from any location with an internet connection.

• From the Internet, Licensees can apply online and pay for an initial license, check renewal dates, apply and pay for renewals, send required documentation electronically or via mail;
• Provide applicants with a toll-free number;
• Our Customer Services Associates are knowledgeable and friendly;
• Design and develop electronic or paper applications;
• Ensuring applications meet statutory requirements;
• Make application materials available on-line or via mail;
• Process applications and fees;
• Automatically send notifications of license renewal;
• Tom’s Board Tool allows designated staff and authorized board members the ability to review all applicant files, together with required documentation and make final determinations of eligibility for licensure;
• Issue discrepancy letters to applicants;
• Produce reports of eligible applicants;
• Provide customized reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis;
• Collect and remit board fees on schedule to be agreed upon;
• Wall certificates and wallet cards for licenses can be automatically generated, and then sent to the board for original signatures or these may be electronically signed and sent to licensees once approved as an applicant for licensure.
