Initial Licensure (Applicants who have never been licensed before as a Chiropractor)
be 18 years old
be of good moral character
have earned at least two years in a curriculum leading to a bachelor's degree in liberal arts or science
have earned a degree from an C.C.E. accredited chiropractic program
submit a verification of licensure from each state in which you have ever held a chiropractic license
have earned a passing score on NBCE Part I, II, III, IV and Physiotherapy
must complete a criminal offender record information request form
Licensure by Reciprocity (Applicants who have been licensed before as a Chiropractor outside of Massachusetts at least three years)

be 18 years old

be of good moral character

have earned at least two years in a curriculum leading to a bachelor's degree in liberal arts or science

have earned a degree from an C.C.E. accredited chiropractic program

have been licensed in one state for at least 3 years

submit a verification of licensure from each state in which you have ever held a chiropractic license

Certified Transcript indicating passing scores on NBCE Parts I, II, III, IV, and Physiotherapy; send directly from NBCE
must submit the Reciprocity requirement for Massachusetts letter to all states where the candidate holds a license. This letter is asking if that state will or will not reciprocate with a candidate from Massachusetts. If none of the states will reciprocate with a MA candidate, then the MA Board of Chiropractors will review the file and the candidate may be required to meet the current Initial Licensure requirements.
